Sunburst Medallion by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig painted to a beautiful Grullo in pastels!  My first attempt at this color as well!  I think it turned out beautifully and I wish I could have kept the medallion for my own collection.  The eye on this piece in particular was just scrumptious! 


NEIBITS '07 Donation
Earthenware medallion by Lesli Kathman cold painted to bay varnish roan appaloosa (finshed in pastels) and finished off with a high gloss sealer (I couldn't resist).  Owned by.....?

Slightly customized feathering on this handsome boy.  He is a extensive pangare bay (in pastels) showable mainly as a european draft. 



Sarah Rose Arabian Medallion  - Owned by Twyla Wehnes
Finished in pastels to a dapple grey (first attempt at this color).  This medallion was a joy to paint!  So much so that I am working on a chestnut right at this very moment!

            
Repainted Breyer SM Running Foal - Owned by Shannara
Finished in pastels with acrylic markings and details this little foal was a novice draw prize at Model West '07.  All of the novices were entered in the draw and the winner was able to have this little cutie painted in any color under the sun!   The winner decieded on a beautiful Black tobiano. 


"Belboa" - Owned by Twyla Wehnes
Oberon by Sarah Rose finished to a blonde (sorrel) Belgian in pastels with acrylic details.  First attempt at this color!  Yummy, this guy is still one of my favorites!


"Donnie Brasco" - Owned by Kristy Maidment
Pendragon resin by Sue Kern.  Resculpting by myself - head adjusted/lowered, mane resculpted to be longer and flowing and feet were rescupted and shoes removed.  Finished to a black leopard Appaloosa in acrylics. 

 
Al Hadiye Resin - Owned by Michelle Weston
Al Hadiye resin by Deborah McDermott finished to a rish bay in pastels with acrylic details.   I love the marking that this guy has, it compliments that stunning face perfectly.  He was a wonderful resin to paint, so much so that I purchased one for myself.

HA Fritz finished in a black tobiano color in acrylics and pastels. 

"Skeptic" Owned by Krista McPherson
G3 Breyer TB -  Resculpted right foreleg (due to significant size difference).  Portrait of Krista's stallion www.pintowarmblood.com. Finished to a bay tobiano with mapping and roaning around his markings.  This stallion was a wonderful subject!  I was able to take pictures of him for reference and he was a sweetheart!
